Except a hijab, chador, or burka, because women’s rights!
Conservatives have made sexual assault a partisan issue, and she’s a devout Christian so double whammy. Boys are being vilified and falsely accused of heinous crimes by girls who, let’s be honest, aren’t the “good girls.” Good girls don’t put themselves in a position where they could tempt those poor slaves to their…
At least W. tried to get immigration reform passed. Remember what stopped him? His own party. They didn’t like the path to citizenship he wanted.
I think I can understand his intentions: he wanted a blood sample from the reserve officer to establish that he wasn’t in any way inebriated while driving that big truck. He was looking out for a fellow policeman, and perhaps helping the prosecutor when the erratic driver was taken to trial.
That’s complete bs. They were trying to protect their own asses from a lawsuit.
You went to eleven with that hot take didn’t you? And the bigotry and willful ignorance pouring from every hateful word is Trumpian. Congratulations.
This was my point. I knew I’d get backlash and have people telling me what I already know about the system. That was inevitable. But no one should be told they can’t write something based on their gender, ethnicity, religious beliefs, or lack thereof. If its terrible then call them out on it.
Every word you wrote is true, and I agree 100%. But I’ve seen a trend on this site of people being judged and ridiculed for writing outside their demographic. And that is what bothered me about this, just that. I want more women behind the cameras and in the writer’s rooms.I want to see equality behind the scenes…
There’s nothing about you that makes you a decent human being. Go fuck yourself.
I totally agree. That is a truth I don’t think anyone whose ever watched a film can deny.
I literally said some suck at it. Didn’t I? Of course I’ve seen the drivel and bullshit men write, and it annoys me to no end. And yet the stay in your lane bullshit is just that, bullshit.
So they should stay in their lane then? I have no interest at all in this, but just because they’re men they can’t write it? I write from the point of view of men and boys in my books, but from what you’re saying I shouldn’t because as a woman there is no way I could ever get into the mindset of the male creature.…
First thing I noticed. There’s a lot going on there.
In general I prefer to watch films in the comfort of my home where I can pause to go to the bathroom or get food that isn’t ridiculously expensive and is actually good. Having said that I did go see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Wonder Woman twice. The other films that caught my interest I’m waiting to stream.
I wish I’d scrolled before commenting. I said the same about the family of six. And you are far more eloquent.
“God’s got this.”
“In the days leading up to when Harvey hit, like most Texans, I was pretty sure the situation was being, well, overblown by the media.”
The conservatives were implying that the libruls were over inflating the dangers of Hurricane Matthew before it hit Florida, even though it had killed hundreds in Haiti. Money was one of the reasons, and you can’t trust the MSM because they work for the democrats. I remember that crap. But then that was during Obama…
The boys at my middle school were always putting mirrors on their shoes trying to look up girl’s skirts, and to this day I can’t remember the teachers doing a whole lot about it. When I was eleven, a friend and I were assaulted by two older boys from another school. Thankfully they were interrupted by a screaming…
