Tada says: “If we did that, we’d kill the small companies that supply aftermarket parts and components. You have to look at the long term, look at the customers, and why they’re buying the car. Look at the GT86—a lot of the reason that people bought one was because of the fun of adding their own parts, their own

Why didnt anyone ask him if he was going to give us a turbo GT86, huge missed opportunity.

This is car design. Leave it “basic” and let the community modify it. Its the same approach that makes the Wrangler hugely successful. I read somewhere that over 90% of American Wranglers are modified in some way. Jeep literally makes it as easy as possible to do this, on purpose.

I think the PT might be looked upon with more favor in the future. The base model low powered AT crap mobiles are working their way downhill from teenage girl starting car to the junkyards. While people are keeping the GTs (especially with the 5 speed).

I have the GT convertible and it holds 4 large adults comfortably and is difficult to get going without burning rubber shifting through the gears.

My turbo (inherited from my mother) can outrun many vehicles on the road.

Beacause Socialist/communist/pagan sodomites, or something like that.

I’m with you. Trump is hard to like (and I didn’t vote for him) but not every single thing he does is wrong and lots of his bombast is a bluff to get opponents to back down.

Because girls are scary?

Canada is our trade ally?

I am so over this car. If they serve it up on an ice cream platter with gold bars on top at this point I wouldn’t care.

Those wheels are highly sought after in the Mopar community today.

Technically, neither are on the K-platform.

It’s important to note that these were supposed to debut before the Lebaron. That way, it would build it’s own reputation first, and then the Lebaron could benefit from that. But it was set back two years and the Lebaron came out first.

One sold at Barrett Jackson this week for $52K

There is something very appealing about this in concept to me.

The TC doesn’t really have as much to do with the LeBaron as it looks. I mean, they’re both on the K-car platform, but all the exterior sheet metal is different.

I own one of these cars. My dad bought it and titled it in Him OR me OR my brother. Bro got his 1999 Mercedes E-something Diesel, which was where my brother lived, and I got the TC which was where I lived. You almost can’t touch anything in the cockpit that isn’t leather or wood. It’s cream with a tan leather interior

I dont know why but I would buy this. For some reason I have always wanted the random luxury convertibles from the Big 3 from this time period. I want the TC, Allante and Reatta in my dream garage.

Was honestly disappointed that none of the writers recommended an Outback.
