My New Year’s resolution is to eliminate (or as close to it as possible) impulse shopping. For me this means no window shopping. Luckily I live in Washington DC so now on weekends when I get that urge, I visit a free museum instead. I take in one exhibit and the “go out and see cool things” impulse is satisfied…

Macy’s has floor model beds with half firm/half soft so they don’t have to use retail floor space for two beds. They sell these at DEEP discount. My spouse and I each get our preference.
