For a lot of people, going to the movies is a hassles and it’s expensive. Combine that with big TVs with decent screens cost less than they used to and people becoming very used to “entertainment on demand” and yeah, that 90 minute schlubby white comedy is the box office draw that it used to be.

I was going to make a joke about looking forward to the CX 70 so they’d have something to fill that gap between numbers, but I googled it first and it’s actual coming in 2024.

I’m assuming the name is meant to be ironic.

Governor Sanders will have a ground crew of child laborers on that in a jiffy.

Philosophically, if the dirty dishes end up clean, does it really matter how they got that way?

Crosswalks are great: when driver stop at the stop line and don’t block the crosswalk so pedestrians crossing have to walk around them and place themselves in more danger - and when pedestrians use them to begin with.

I miss my manual Matrix XR.

Rage against the people buying CUVs and SUVs instead of sedans, but there wouldn’t be so many people choosing them if it wasn’t for people buying the gentrified giant 4 door pick-ups instead of sedans for their daily drivers.

I’d be good with them starting over from scratch - new origin story, new actress - the whole thing.

It’s not a Thanksgiving rollercoaster until someone loses their temper, someone cries and my mother says “I don’t know why I bother.”

I’d think hardy succulents would be a good option, in addition to solar panels. If you’ve got all that sun, might as well make use of it.

There are surface coatings that are shown to reduce the surface temperature and heat absorption of asphalt and concrete, but most cities don’t want to take on the additional maintenance.

Replacing them with xeriscaping and native plants work, but they aren’t always the aesthetically pleasing choice.

If they reimagined a modern pickup at 75%, it would be almost a normal sized vehicle.

Right, and with longer charge times I don’t think people aren’t going to be in a rush to get back to their car and move it so someone else waiting can get in there. They’ll be shopping, eating, watching a movie, whatever and finish that before coming back to move their vehicle.

Take the annoyed feeling of when someone has paid and filled up at the pump, then goes inside to get something without moving to a parking spot and multiply it by 100.
