and I don’t want to be associated with Tesla-Stans.

I live in what is categorized as a city in upstate NY and we were at 402 today.

I just get a little tired of people acting like Marvel films started a trend when the history of cinema has been loaded with formulaic stories and spectacles.

It’s not bad, but I need more couches.

I think I like the interior? At least the options they show on the website. https://www.volvocars.com/us/cars/ex30-electric/interior-design/

You’re right, it’s not apples to apples because the original point was affordability and you only picked a higher priced trim as a comparison - because otherwise your math doesn’t work.

A base Accord - which is a well appointed vehicle - is $27,400, and doesn’t have the 3's off-putting interior.

Mitsubishi.

I love this: “total cost of ownership”

5th Gear - I don’t think Hydrogen should be dismissed. It may not be the best option for the general public, but it could be a better alternative to heavy batteries for mass transit like city buses, schools buses, fleet trucks and semis.

Why should someone settle for something that only meets their needs? especially when the entire history of the automobile has been about much more than getting someone from A to B?

I’ve done the math and for me, even the vehicles in the ‘affordable’ range don’t make financial sense for my driving habits. It would be a sizable increase in costs for me to go EV and I’d be in a vehicle I don’t find appealing at all.

also, I doubt women aren’t allowed. I’ve seen women on both Scruff and Grindr.

Their market research probably shows queer women use the products they already offer.

Why only for men?

The average age of a car on the road is 12.5 years old. source: https://www.roadandtrack.com/news/a43903366/average-car-age-12-years/

I cannot think of a time where I am driving the posted speed limit in a construction zone and I didn’t have some dipshit riding my ass because they didn’t think I was going fast enough. Happens in the school zone I drive through on my way to and from work, too. I’m all for automatic ticketing cameras in these zones.

Unpopular - I use the physical buttons on my steering wheel for volume, fast forward and rewind when I’m listening to music or a podcast, and to launch Google to call someone for my via voice command. I think I’d be okay with no physical buttons for the infotainment as long as the buttons remain on the steering wheel.

I thought about getting one, but decided to wait and see what improvements there would be with the next model. I hope the bezels get smaller, it’s usable screen looks so small for the size.
