i spent a lot of time in a 1.5L FWD 5-spd familia for many years. It was kinda cool for what it was, but I cannot imagine someone (who knew anything about anything) wanting to push this kind of money for this kind of car. all things considered.

It's been argued before (and I'm in this camp) that slowing down is the best way to reduce the force of an accident and improve the chances for a favorable outcome. Even if you hit that deer in front of you, if you can slow down by 10, 20, 30mph before doing so it's going to be a lot easier on your body.
