The difference is that Morey didn’t comment on any of those things you mentioned. He commented on China, who then snapped back AGGRESSIVELY at the NBA, which cost them money. LeBron responded by basically attacking Morey. He could’ve just said nothing....which I think he realized after the backlash he got.
