I’m very happy I bought my Colorado in 2008 before this touchscreen nonsense was mandatory. I custom ordered my truck as a base model work truck, and it had a simple AM/FM radio in it. It was very easy to remove that and put in a $70 Kenwood stereo that plays MP3s, and I love it. No stupid touchscreens in the dash.

Why? Brake lights should be dedicated and red. Turn signals should be separate and amber.

The infiltration of all the safety mechanisms, such as lane-keeping assist, collision mitigation systems, and the like. I feel they will reduce the common sense factor of people in control of a 4000 pound death brick. While I concur that they can be useful, I feel they will become a crutch to driving.

The family sticker figures on rear windows. I can’t stand them one bit.

Black hoods. I have no idea why this trend caught on - it just looks like you tried to go into the garage before the door was all the way up and couldn’t afford to paint your replacement hood.

These stupid windsheild stickers that always say the dumbest things, I’ve seen them on a stock Hyundai and whatnot, gets on my nerves lol

Headlight switches.

The F-35 developed a shit ton of tech that will be used in future programs. The problem was the F-35 tried to be a jack of all trades instead of specializing in a specific task.

I thoroughly disagree with this premise. People may say they don’t want it, but it’s purely because they don’t know or don’t understand it.

A non-hostile Iran? Please, tell us all about this ‘non-hostile’ Iran of yours. lol.

Investigation into what?

If you thought Iran had given up on their nuclear weapons program you are a damn fool

“Passengers were thankful that it was ‘only’ a crack to the outside window, faint praise for the US airline industry.”

This. How many taxi drivers still only take cash (regardless of what the city has mandated), have no mobile app, and the second they realize you’re a tourist, will take you the absolute most expensive route?

People who buy a house in the flight path of an existing airport have NO RIGHT to complain about the noise from said airport.

Also, by the time SLS actually flies, SpaceX will be onto the BFR, so what is this comparison actually showing?

I really want to watch this sitcom. Meet Ralph, SVP of Control Panel Development.

I use mine to listen to the radio and podcasts at night because it helps me to sleep, for weather, and for alarms & timers. It’s convenient because I don’t have to get up and search for a podcast or change the station on my radio. Otherwise, the shopping list and other features are useless unless you have internet

Just as gimmicky as those stupid gullwing doors on the Model X. This is why I have trouble taking Tesla very seriously. Their fit and finish is iffy, but they’re pouring resources into gimmicky shit.
