Tiny Teal Toyota T-boned by Taco?

6. Being in car while being hit by a skateboarding taco.

does it come in cans? That is the first test of a pool beer

I do the same. My response is "do you see an apple tree growing out of my mouth? Then mind your own business…"

This deserves the +10 star button.

Sometimes journalistic discretion is your friend

I have a weird generational thing handed down from my dad. WE ALWAYS HAD BANANAS WITH TACOS. If you wanted a taco, you had a banana. It was because he was a part of a large family and I guess that's how large families went: "You're hungry? Here's a taco? And a banana! Now get out of my way while I change your

Thank you for this. I have now found the most important reason for owning a tablet. This is beautiful work.

I agree with willyts here. I use math a ton, and physics. I had to take English Lit and Poetry in school, but I don't use them now. But I am sure that some of the things that I did and learned about during poetry class helped me gain creativity or writing skills or something that I can't pinpoint as directly

I'm not trying to be difficult, I swear. But the slope of a graph and two factor equations are everywhere. Look at your finances and cash flow, these are two (or even more) factor equations. Also, natural logarithms are essential for compound interest calculations which is also critical if you want to budget for

I agree with you there. Which is why auto shop is usually offered alongside physics (unfortunately not as much as it used to be). The point of my reply was that, although they don't seem 'practical', many of the classes that we were forced to take become building blocks for the more 'practical' lessons out there.

The fact that you can't see the connection between math (i.e. solving for variables and graphing functions) and taxes, budgeting, and car ownership is a sign of a more serious flaw in the education system.
