I remain uninterested in a love affair between Felicity and Oliver. I loathe this tendency to make every lead male and female character on a show be romantically entwined. The show would be infinitely more interesting if Oliver and Felicity were just very good friends and she didn't swoon over him at all.

I understand why people find them funny, but they strike me as self-conscious in a way I find tedious. Their humor feels one-dimensional and on-the-nose (generally) particularly on matters of race and class.

I dislike Key & Peele's tremendously, but they are perfect for our delusional post-racial moment. so i get their inclusion though they'd be dead last for me. cause. i don't think it's a funny or insightful show at all.
