I kind of liked it- action was decent, pretty good visuals, the rock as the bad guy did an excellent job, and the cast was above average. I actually rather enjoyed the first person section too- it was a gimmick, but more ambitious than you normally got in a b movie.

Ok, I’ll be the one: I watched The Accountant—I’ll see anything with Jon Bernthal in it—and I liked it. It was an efficient little movie, nicely paced and with decent action sequences.

It really is a bizarrely rewatchable movie - bizarre because it’s incredibly weird.

(I’m not going to lie: I appreciated that the Mexican immigrant who escaped a violent past and came to the U.S. for a better life didn’t die at the end of the last one. Because in any other movie? He’d be gone.)

The scene in the GIF above!

No, they dont understand how parole or probation works. He is not serving jail time for popping a wheelie. He is doing time for constantly violating parole and probation. The link is provided in the article.

I love Scott Thompson and he’s a really interesting guy, but the real buried lede here is that Kevin MacDonald used to be fat.

Ya couldn’t sneak in a question about Hannibal? Not even in passing?

I have pointed this out before, but this statement is the essence of the conservative playbook. Accuse the other side of doing what you yourself are doing before they can accuse you of it. That way when somebody looks at it and says “hey, you are the ones using your media platform to push an agenda,” they look like

The article also never says which major news conglomerates condemn baby-eating, so by that logic, we have to assume that all of them condone it.

Where in this article does it say other major news conglomerates aren’t doing this?

I hope so but doubt it.

My vote for the worst product placement, while I admit to something really embarrassing about my tv viewing habits, is in Bones. Sometimes I think the writers and staff didn’t even bother trying to incorporate it with any sort of relevance on purpose. Or at least I hope not because it’s embarrassing. Example:

Or Britta Perry’s torrid romance with Subway on Community:

My response would be “suck my balls you stupid whore I hope you end up broke sleeping in a gutter on top of used needles” but David Hogg proves, once again, that he is the adult here.

I love Hogg *immediately* calling her out as only apologizing once she started losing sponsors.

It’s people like this (the protesters) that give the rest of us calm, rational vegans a bad name. Shouting at someone is the absolute worst way to get anyone to see your point of view, and they are doing much more harm than good when it comes to animal rights. Groups like this just do these stunts to make headlines,

He placed it before. I had to rewind it a few times, but he spoke to Jeremy and then the next thing we see is him placing the camera in the truck, then he runs into Rachel and her dad. So he didn’t know she was bringing her dad :(

I know they want to be all edgy and whatnot, but the doofus host, Graham(?) is somehow winding up the most sympathetic member of the crew here. It’s jerknado!
