It’s not that Millenials and Gen Z are too snooty for 20 year old houses or can’t save some money. Houses are hundreds of thousands more than when you bought one and snatched up left and right, often higher than listing prices by cash buyers.

They weren’t serious about their shot at making a coherent movie trilogy, so I can’t say I’m surprised here.

She was also Vorenus’ wife on Rome, that’s what I recognized her from.

This is why I didn’t like Rogue One. Too much “hey remember this and that? Oh shit y’all it’s Darth Vader!” With paper thin character support.

You can’t actually buy them online unless you can find a local Girl Scout with some online store setup which sounds convoluted. Also I put in my ZIP code on the site to find a local sale, it says cookie season is over. So I guess the massive excess will remain unsold.

I’m on my second watch of Mad Men, several years after the finale (no spoilers here), and for anyone who may stumble across this comment in the future: I found that Mad Men was very rewarding to watch the first time, but is even more so if you watch it knowing how it all plays out. I encourage any first-timers reading

I agree with a lot of the nitpicks and criticisms of the show, but I find myself forgiving a lot because Baby Yoda is such a treasure. I’m delighted every time his little face is onscreen. They really got me, dammit.

I’m a woman and I struggled with the fact that I just didn’t click with this movie like every other woman seemed to. I remember thinking all the main characters were horrible people that I wouldn’t want to be around. It was like an inside joke that I wasn’t in on.

I’m not a guy, but I am 32 and I can’t imagine having a 14 year old acquaintance. It is weird.

Does Serena even get to have sex with Fred anymore? It seems like the Gilead way is sex for procreation only. I vaguely recall a scene last season where Serena tried to seduce Fred and he rejected her.

Janine and Emily are treasures. I’m willing to forgive the show for the flimsy excuse to keep them on.

I was out with a group of 14 people recently and the waitress didn’t write anything down. We were a little nervous due to the size of the group and I’m sure no one would have judged her for writing it down. Management should rethink the policy for large groups at least.

If they don’t figure out how to import all the old discussions in the next couple weeks I’m giving up on this place. I loved the TV review comment sections here. I’m catching up on Season 4 of The Americans and now I can’t read what people thought of it a year ago! Horrific!

I’ll feel slightly better when old comments come over. I was catching up on a few shows and I need to read what people thought about them.

I went into this with an open mind, but wew. This is gonna be an adjustment. My first gripes are that I can’t collapse comment threads anymore and old comments appear to be gone... I was catching up on a few shows and wanted to read the commentariat thoughts.

For me I guess it's like my nerves on my scalp fell asleep and they're tingling like when your hand falls asleep, but obviously not in a painful way. You just feel very relaxed.

I like ASMR videos, but I can't picture myself being comfortable going to a place for it in real life. It just seems like that's too… far?

I didn't recognize his voice either, so when I saw his face I had a pearl-clutching "no, Donnie!" moment. So scandalous.

No Benny Mardones in the skeevy sixteen mentions?
