Well, I gave it 14 episodes and this is the straw that broke the camel's back. Or more accurately, the Mack truck that fell on the camel that's been crippled and comatose for weeks, killing it. 14 episodes. I'll never get that time back.

Maybe it's just me, but based on interviews and articles, Lena Dunham seems to act as if she really believes it. At the very least, she comes off smug and elitist.

The Nielsens are bullshit. It doesn't matter if non-Nielsen rated households watch it live or through torrents, they don't count either way. Their sampling is pathetic. I'm male and heterosexual and this is just flat out my favorite show right now.

I think it's just exaggerated based on his behavior in this episode. Greg is one of the characters I relate to the most and two of his songs are favorites of mine. Greg can be pompous, condescending and spiteful, but he can be really sweet, funny and selfless. Greg fans in da hizzowse.

Yeeeeeah, that's not even the comment I was replying to.

You flat out said she wasn't portrayed as depressed and it was online comments projecting a label onto her. You gotta figure out a cohesive version (or continuum?) of what you're trying to say.

Good point, but even Rachel Bloom called her show a musical comedy … when she won the Golden Globe for best actress in a comedy or musical.

Depression has different sides to it. Depressed people can appear happy and functional even though they aren't. How Rebecca was in the first episode kind of clearly defines her as someone with depression. She does desperate things and tries to fake her way through life to get out of it, but of course it backfires.

See, that's a huge problem I have with Dunham and Girls in general. Claiming to be the voice of her generation is so fucking pretentious and annoying when she's really the voice of no one but the pampered child of an affluent, famous family. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend doesn't pretend to be the first to depict young female

Maybe watch for the other extremely likable characters instead of hoping balance comes to one of them?

I feel like Lena Dunham is a fraud. Famous parents/friends gift her a show that quickly goes from belated millennial coming of age material to a randomly indulgent mess where every character is a dumb turd. The Crazy Ex-Girlfriend writers at least know real pain outside of being dumped or disrespected. Take out all

This show, this episode gets all the A's. The best one yet. The writers really get what it's like to be lonely, awkward and how hard it is to relate to anyone, especially when everyone in the room has more chemistry with someone else there. Even though Rebecca is a liar and a schemer, she has a heart. That's kind of

whole? What the fuck are you saying whole for? Look, you're one of the worst types of fans there are. The kind who are satisfied with basically any garbage they churn out, no matter how universally reviled it is. And not only that, you aren't content to keep your enjoyment to yourself and have to "correct" people

Please stop excusing and explaining all this horse shit to everyone. Even if you were right, no one gives a fuck.

Just awful. Noah's death could have meant something if they built up to it, but the writers fall for that overly familiar trope of, "Oh, me me me destiny I'll die I'm a hero!" I also rolled my eyes when Micah magic'd electricity into a hospital. If he could do that, why doesn't he just turn plaster and linoleum into a

Don't act like a troll and people won't trash your opinion. If you really think nitpicking my so-called absolute declaration qualified by "pretty much" was a worthwhile detour to take, you should know it's very stupid and pointlessly annoying. You know what I meant and you're just trying to fight.

You are aware that "pretty much" is a qualifier, right? Why are we talking about this? Do you just like to look around for things to pick at so you can invent a situation where you're correct and someone else isn't? I'm never going to admit I was wrong because I wasn't. If you need me to write an asterisk next to

You're being pedantic because you're changing the context of the situation being discussed. In these kinds of situations, the lack of consent is automatic. Sufficient witnesses and evidence can convict based on this. I was never talking about that and you know I wasn't. I was talking about all situations in which a

If your brother tried to rape your wife, you should punch him. Repeatedly.

I think you're being pedantic. Rejection is the same as refusing consent. I really don't know what you're getting at. Saying no = rejection = refusing consent
