I think this is the Buzzfeed-ification of news, where you can get a news story with Parks and Rec and Office gifs sprinkled thoughout it right after you read about “27 Times We Were All Hangry AF” and learn which Disney princess you are based off of what kind of tacos you like.

“...in place of A-list entertainers like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Idina Menzel and Silentó who have performed for Egg Rolls past.”

I find it really hard to believe he meant to put runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out

A team that plays in the most popular league in the country couldn’t wait to leave St. Louis, partially because of lack of support. What makes you think forking over public money for an expansion team in maybe the 5th most popular league in the country is a good investment? St. Louis loves to say they’ll support

That Kandor-Schilling exchange:

I agree that we should look at any speech that doesn’t feature random sentence fragments and incoherent rambling as progress and a potential steep towards being more presidential, but it’s hard to give him that credit when that will all be undone by a rage tweet storm this weekend when SNL makes fun of him again.

You missed St. Louis. The BFIB’s wouldn’t dream of living in St. Louis proper. Too many of the “wrong type of people.”

In terms of Dodd-Frank, it’d be one thing if this uncharted territory. Something to try out, see what happens. Or if something like this didn’t work in a modern economy, but may have a different impact now. BUT WE KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!! IT WAS TEN FUCKING YEARS AGO!! WE KNOW HOW THIS ENDS!!

And it’s nothing new. These are the same people who asked “HOW’S THAT HOPE AND CHANGE THING WORKING FOR YOU??” when Obama was in office. And the answer to that for just about everyone was, “I mean, it’s not obviously better, but it’s definitely better.” I feel like those people were expecting a mansion and a yacht by

Now playing

Sam “Big Balls Dance” Cassell and Jason Williams in a Big Buddy program is a biiiit awkward now. And, of course, R.I.P. Stuart Scott

DINGERS!!!

How about Frida just going for it after Linus had to take 5 minutes to talk himself into it?

I think everyone would have been OK with Emily dumping the rest of that beer on that woman’s head after making such a big deal about it.

Great. Because they weren’t doing a good enough job of that on their own.

I agree to some degree, but journalists being afraid to cover what’s actually going on in the WH out of fear of losing their credentials directly effects all of the things you just mentioned.
