Every rich dude in San Bernadino County is trying to sell these off (along with side by sides and 3 axle 5th wheels) because they are mortgaged up to their eyeballs trying to keep up with their buddies.
Street racing, rolling coal, peel-outs from Cars and Coffee...
Who in their right mind is going to get on a cruise ship any time soon?
After I finish gouging out my eye with a hot poker I think I’ll feast on some tasty glass shards.
A car that can go 180 pulls like crazy from 40-70.
Reading comments on this site over the years I was under the impression the roads in Michigan were on par with Baghdad’s in 1990. I thought you’d need a Trophy Truck to hit some legitimate speeds up there.
Potholes and concrete buckles come fast on I-75, even at 70. I can’t imagine at 180.
Your head is in the right place, but your playing the wrong sport.
When you have a net worth of say, 9 or 10 figures, this is so little money that it doesnt matter. when your dividends/interest per month that spin off of your investments can account for hundreds of millions a year what is 6 or 700k? Its not even worth pausing one second to think about.
It was huge and ungainly, with a perchance for understeer thanks to the turbocharger kinda tact on to the front (hence the Blower name) but it was still incredibly fast.
“Well trick me into an embassy and chop me up like a piece of meat, this is the last thing I’d have expected from Saudi Arabia!”
“90% of the guys that buy Tacoma’s will never even use it for transporting rebels, let alone mount a 20mm cannon in it.”
See, if the US really wanted to fight terrorism we should get rid of the 25 year rule and introduce Bring A Trailer to conflict zones. I’d happily do my part and outbid the Janjaweed for a Land Cruiser.
The real bullshit here: While all of those ass holes can fairly easily get their hands on the best pickups and SUVs Toyota has to offer, I cannot buy any of them in the US and I’m not even trying to wage war on anybody.
Have they figured out how this particular Toyota got into Terrorist hands?
I’ve driven the track, just don’t go balls out. There are so many guides on what you should and shouldn’t do. Most of these guys who are there are going to be faster than you, and they have more experience, more skill, and more car than you. Stay right and you’ll be mostly fine.
I’m 100% with you. The irony here is that many of these same dealers and states who are getting screwed by needing a “wet signature” and struggling to sell cars in this environment are the exact organizations/states who fought Tesla’s dealer/distribution model tooth and nail. To them I say: Adapt or die. Fighting…
It’s not a particularly pretty thing and clearly not special enough (other than its run limited to 12 units) to be 10 times more expensive than the regular Continental cabrio. Also, the name sounds like codfish in most Latin languages...
They will be canceled by default when no one shows up at their events.
