Exactly what I'm thinking. Tell the truth, get a warning. Go figure.

Welcome to Kotaku.

"Dragon's Dogma is also not the only game that opens with DLC reminders, Mass Effect 3 being a recent example. Granted, it's not as obtrusive as the pop-up in Dragon's Dogma, but the in-game advertisement for additional content is certainly not an unfamiliar concept."

Haters gun' hate. I read this review early on, and was waiting for your commentary. How Kotaku gets away with this time and again, is beyond me. I hardly ever browse it anymore, but it's good to see your commentaries where it counts. Impossible to criticize you for leveling the playing field. This review is just

Count me in as one of the fans that loved the mako. Without it, there really was no sense of exploration . ME1 Was,and still is, one of the best games out there. 3 was good cept for the crappy ending. 2 wasnt my kind of game at all.

Same as nurse. I don't have the time to hang around here as much as I should (and to be honest, most of Kotaku's facewashing regarding certain topics have really pushed me away from wanting to browse it, anyway) but rest assured, you voice many of our opinions. It's always a pleasure to know that whenever the scales

And I hate people that defend assholes like Fish.

This is actually the perfect place to complain. Nothing Fish said was taken out of context. Fish is the real troll in this story, and it's just pitiful that some people would defend his attack.

For every japanese game you "think" sucks I'll show you 2 western games that I think suck. Nothing is "kinda true" as a fact. Subjective opinions are subjective. Fish apparently thought he was in a high enough horse that he could just state his opinion as universal fact. Not the way to express your opinion,

He only apoligized after a public outcry happened and even then, he tried to laugh it up. Fish is indeed a hypocritical asshole, and I have enough reasons not to buy his game.

Agreed, kotaku did miss quite a few bullet points.

huh. go figure. Square Enix is one of my favorite developers today. Along with CDProject. Go figure.

I agree with what you're saying.

Really? Aw, well that sucks. I'm gay as well and tbh, didn't think they would pull it off. But it showed sensibility and tenderness that I didn't think they would allow "badass" Commander Shepard to display. Shepard's panicked look the morning after was actually responding to

Final Fantasy XI is still standing as well, and it isn't f2p.

I fail to see how the gay "sex" scenes on Mass Effect 3 are awkward. If anything, I found that it was very appropriate, showing off a sensitive, more tender side of both men involved (haven't seen the lesbian scene). Perhaps this is why he finds it awkward, specially when he tries to make a case right before saying

Agreed. It seems though, that now the time has come for blogs to start doing Fish's PR for him.

lol, I hear ya! Well I've seen the Shii's song video before, but (unless they've removed it recently) Luna's actual boat song from the original sega CD game, as well as the opening theme song and video, were both on youtube. That scene felt so amazing back then, the combination of CG for the boat, and anime, felt so

Even though there are amazing suggestions in here, as far as an introductory jrpg, you have nailed it in the head. Lunar was amazing in the days of the Sega CD, and it is still amazing on the PSOne/PSP. And even though there are other amazing jrpgs out there, this is a great choice to start off with. Very accesible,

Oh crap....i'm at my office and I laughed out soooo hard at this!
