All about choosing your neighbors....

That Northern VA traffic is no joke. I used to have to go north in the morning, and south in the evening. I would run the entire 495 beltway every day. I was entering it at 4 o’clock to get to work located at Tyson’s corner about 7 o’clock.

COTFD!

GM knew the ignition switches were a problem, and quietly replaced them with units that had tougher springs. Yet the tried covering it up by keeping the same ignition pswitch part number.

Ugly on the outside, and great on the inside... Mommy told me there’d be days like this.

So it uses the same windshield as a Wrangler, yet somehow they made it bullet-proof?

Those arches aren’t too flared and in your face... looks like a 924. Also that round side reflector is a dead give away.

I rented a Chevy Lumina from this generation. It wasn’t terrible, thankfully you can’t see the outside while driving. That bode well for me and a few years later when my RX7's transmission died, I got a brand stinking new 2001 Monte Carlo SS. (Kermit one). It was a great car for about 6 years and about 125k miles.

I def like that mini center stack!

My Leaf lets you turn off the screen, but it will not turn off the back-light. So problem NOT averted

Was gonna comment on the same. I have never been or seen a junkyard that is paved...

I drove a friend’s Mazda 5, and my knees hit the dash. The seat was all the way back, and my knees didn’t just touch the dash, they were resting up against it! I am only 6'2".

Yeah, the good ones are expensive. Everyone here says to buy a Leaf, and while they are a super cheap option, they are small uncomfortable cars. Especially when the owner is over 6' tall. The short wheelbase makes city driving (it’s bread and butter) a bit like riding a mechanical bull! The headrest that is only

I sold one of these Astras to Carmax in 2012 for $8000. It has 23K miles. CP

I still do! When I notice it takes a little extra time to turn over, I go pop open the cell ports, and fill ‘em up with distilled water. After that it will crank normally again.

Thread CLOSED.

If you go around a corner, will the inner wheel compress? Or is the outer tire going to loose contact with the ground?

This guy brings up good points, but clearly has a horse in this race. “Don’t race on the streets, come to my track and pay out the ass!”

Gen one MX6 looked like a typical japan econobox. No pop-ups

That MX-6 was such a good car. So smooth to drive, and good power from it’s V6. Too bad they fell by the wayside.
