Yes I really wish they would mandate the LED lighting. I get blinded by red tail lights on newer Prius and some other cars. It also doesn’t help that brake lights are mounted higher now. Right about face level. Especially on SUVs. When waiting at stoplights behind those cars at night I usually put down the sun visor.

I drove a G2 Prius, and the rear spoiler basically blocks the headlights from behind you. So it is a double win, since you are in a Prius, you are obviously going slowly, and have someone tailgating you and trying to blind you with their high-beams. All of witch you can’t see cause that spoiler!

The old Honda CRX has the same split window hatch back in the late ‘80s. The rear deck had very tinted glass so most people didn’t notice. Notice in this pic you can see through the back glass.

And not Chrysler is in the hands of the Italians.....

But then the evil organization COBRA got their hands on the plans and made these!

That is sleek and sexy!

So shiny and clean. Love that new car smell!

THIS x100000000000

CLS lights?

What are these things? Vortex generators?

Have the Blue Angles ever landed on a carrier?

Ghosts of dead Chinese assembly line workers?

Seems to me to be a passive aggressive show of force.

Nah, drive the SH!T out of it!

mmmmm hourglass car

Still has rear windows you can’t see jack out of!

When I was a kid I always loved cars. I had toys sure, but watching TV of the time helped. All the cars on TV were rear drive and all the car chases had plenty of oversteer. Most notable shows for me were Knight Rider, and Dukes of Hazard. I had all the toys mentioned above as well, but always wanted to watch real

What is this place? Is it the assembly line?! Cause, wow, just wow!

I can think of one that wasn’t mentioned. The movie was Freaky Friday (I think) there was a chase scene in an aqua duct where a cop car hits a divider and splits in half down the center-line. It was a clean cut right through the engine block and the entire car. I saw this movie when I was a kid and that part stuck

I only wish we could have Clarkson and Co.’s take on the whole ordeal. Especially since they did that bit on how brilliant VW’s advertising was.
