They didn’t used to, dumbfuck. Forgive me for not knowing when this happened.

Because they’re still not acting as a functional business?
Official Ford project? No. Dave down in prototypes just found out his wife is cheating on him and decided to let a little rage out. But now poor Dave's hooliganism is on the internet and he will surely be terminated. Let's all pour one out for Dave.
There is no “conversation”. At this point it feels like a witch hunt.
I’m aware of they make replacements for the Panther platform, I just refuse to call them real cop cars. I subscribe to the Elwood Blues definition of a cop car:
I really want someone to explain to my why a police vehicle should be held responsible for running over someone. They’re not even autonomous.
And I think the Focus RS is also a possible future classic the same way the Honda S2000 is becoming one.
There’s lots of complaints against an S3, but underpowered isn’t normally one of them. It’s a ‘97 with 101 hp and 90 ft-lbs of torque, that’s actually pretty impressive. It was clearly a sport-tourer/naked (the S3T being even more touring centric), so you’ve got to compare it to that, not a GSXR1000.
Jeep people are Jeep people, but the majority of people buying Wranglers are not true Jeep people. I have a good friend who is leasing a Wrangler but would rather have a Bronco.
You ever drive a Wrangler? What does it do well on the road? The answer is not much. Sure, it has off road chops and the ability to shed it’s top and doors but how much drive-ability on pavement do you compromise for that? The answer is a lot. 97% of the Wranglers will never make it past a dirt road.
On the other hand, I can think of no better tribute to the concept of “Remember when those Budweiser swilling guys from Ford owned Aston-Martin briefly?”
My knee-jerk reaction was to judge, but... Thinking back, younger me did shit at least as stupid as this and I was just a lot luckier.
Pictured: how it’s done
As long as they don’t try to recreate the chase with a white one. That actually does seem like a terrible idea.
The Ford does it at 2000 RPM; Toyota needs 4600 to hit the same figure. High rpm torque is... well, not truckish.
Torque. ALL the torque, and they’re no less efficient than any other motor in a 5-ton truck.
Itll run badly longer than nearly any other 4 cylinder will run at all. GM design exemplified
The Cummins five-nine straight six. Timing GEARS, mechanical fuel injection, million mile bullet proof motor that could easily be pushed to 1,000+ horse power and torque numbers, on a budget. Jalop in fact did a write-up on it a while back.
Hands down, the Taurus SHO V6.... For an engine designed in the mid ‘80s it combined great power, good sound (when the secondary runners open) and a beautiful design... Way ahead of its time, and a shame it was put in a crappy Taurus body. I miss mine.
I’d like to make a case for the Buick 3800. Remarkable for being unremarkable, it just does its job without complaint for decades.
