The wording was over the top but judges do send lawsuits back to mediation, using more common legal language,b it’s not unprecedented.
Dude’s truck has an exhaust leak.
mmmh high revving DOHC V8.
My dad had a sho, sure it looks boring now but in 1990 those things looked like space ships when everyone was driving k-cars.
The batteries are made from Korean and Japanese components. The three largest component suppliers occupy 55% of the market and two are in korea, the other is a japanese/american conglomerate.
Tesla is not ahead on “battery” tech per say, and certainly not decade on the ancillary components they design.
Bowling green is going to four shift last I heard, which means they expect increased demand this year. I just don’t see the market supporting that anymore.
I am not as optimistic. They planned their production around a pre-economic downturn demand. It takes time for supply chains to catch up to reality, once they fill the initial orders I suspect their scheduling team is in for the whiplash effect.
I would say the exact opposite. Millennials can afford used C6s and I see plenty of modified ones in my area. Their a popular choice with younger union guys in the local factories. On the other hand, C7s seem to be going to and from the car show or being pulled out into the driveway for their third waxing of the…
During the last recession my dad snapped up a fully loaded C6 Z51 package for 50K and 0% interest with no money down. I would pull the same hat trick on a new C8, if it weren’t for the two kids and substantially less income...
They’re similar enough that people start the project but not similar enough that its easy. For example the front differential bolts directly to the old 4.2, ironically enough they left the mounting points on the 4.0 but you have to grind off reinforcing ribs from the side of the motor to reach them.
I’ve daydreamed about an eagle wagon with a modernish xj drivetrain swap. The reality is it would likely be a fiasco but fun to think about.
Im giving this a slightly tongue in cheek ribbing up thread but I have to point out absolutely nothing is boring when doing 40 mph on washboard. In my dumber days I occasionally drifted a David Tracy esque xj on gravel roads and that is probably as far from a Porsche as you can go and be on 4 wheels.
Au contraire my friend, you have obviously not encountered the sport crossover. It has a V6 (maybe even turbocharged)! It has AWD! And the dealer will gladly check the manual option on your favorite search site because it has flappy paddles!
So you want something that drives like a car, has storage like a wagon, but has a slight lift while looking more rugged...
I am already imagining a relatively dinky SLS launched Orion space capsule docking with the SpaceX “lander” that they could have just launched the astronauts on if it weren’t for a man in Alabama.
You really ought to look at some of the turnkey systems out now. MegaSquirt has a line of self learning ecu plug and play replacements I’ve been drooling over.

True, I like to take the wife’s appliance car to the dealership just so I have something to look at. They're not touching my car though, I can break them well enough on my own.
