Not a good comparison for street models considering the series has a vested interest in keeping the racing close. C5s can and do run circles around the E46.

I recall the Camaro 1LE and Mustang Cobra being quicker solo II cars than the e46 M3 in the 90s/ early 2000s so I doubt the euro spec e36 offered a significant performance advantage.

Depending on the bourbon, ice is getting a little out there for my tastes.

The LS motor is longer than the mod/5.0. It would have had more issues with the firewall and and this appears to be an application where the coyotes 2 extra inches of width aren’t a factor. Keep in mind modulars were deliberately designed to be short at the expense of the height and width everyone complains about.

Pushrods can have significant packaging advantages, see GM. Unfortunately there is no demand in HDs market for more power so no great leaps on that front.

His point being harley adopted it the same time as the other bike manufacturers, but it went over your head so...

Touche, although the vipers retirement does present a market opportunity...

He doesn’t need to be hovering. As soon as the airforce comes over the horizon they look like a flare on FLIR. The air frame it self has a high contrast compared to the air around it.

Pretty different cars, how do they compare?

Thats hilarious.

Huh, so that’s where she wound up when she left the SVT site. She’s cool as long as she doesn’t race anymore Corvettes...

I’m well aware of what drag is, it still isn’t relevant to this review. If the volt manages a 200 mile range and a Tesla 3 has a 200 mile range it doesn’t matter to the user if the volt experienced more drag. Guessing at the real world mileage based on cd is throwing darts. It only matters for some very bizarre bench

Except the drag coefficient doesn’t matter if they have the same range, unless you need the worlds worst opening line at cocktail parties...

All the issues raised in the article could be said about any EV.

Judging by their prices on ebay compared to the same year M3's they still are the cool kid. Kinda like the popular all star quarter back that you secretly despised who shows up at your 10 year reunion as a Doctor who volunteers in 3rd world countries (that you still secretly despise).

ehm, I realize domestics are beneath most BMW drivers but the parts catalogues for the pony cars easily eclipses the 3 series...
