i know boyd rice was a huge suicide fan. he did a remake of rocket usa thats worth checking out. and his song "venus and mars"sounds very much like a suicide tune. i think there was an alan vega release on wax trax at some point. seems like a good enough way to tie them into the industrial movement. but yeh… suicide

i recently listenned to pretty hate machine which i thought was amazing when i was 12, and i gotta agree. i think my inner voice was yelling at me for liking something so angsty but i was 12 so there you go. downward spiral still holds up in parts. really amazing sound design on some of those songs. like reptile.

suicide is great but they were pre-industrial. didnt really have a connection to industrial records, so even though they sound very much like industrial, they were not. its like how kraftwerk isnt techno. even though it sounds a hell of a lot like techno, it wasnt part of the detroit scene, so not techno.

ex girlfriend had one of those pin up pictures of matt damon from like tigerbeat magazine or whatever the hell. i stuck with it for awhile but i just couldnt shake that. i get being attracted to attractive people, i get obsessing over it. i dont get how you leave it up on your bedroom wall when you're 23. sure it was

i like the jesus lizard, i like einsturzende neubaten, but lets be real. this is bland.
