I’m guilty of sending a series of rapid fire texts when having an animated conversation. My friends hate it, maybe we should switch?

I was seeing a guy who consistently spelled definitely as “defiantly” and it drove me INSANE. He also uses it all the time and I recently saw a post on Facebook where he did it. I’m supposed to see him again soon for the first time in 3-4 months, can I mention it?

I’ll be 30 soon and can’t find a relationship to save my life. Not even a short one. I miss the intimacy and having someone to talk to when I get home. I miss the feeling of touching another human - not even in a sexual way - more than once a week.

What if all my friends are in pretty great LTRs? The only ones who have had awful divorce/cheating stuff happen to them got new boyfriends in like 30 seconds.

I got the “give them a chance!” thing a lot as well, and so I did. Which had led to some of the most awkward and uncomfortable dates/run ins later I’ve ever had.

I was 30 actual seconds late for work one day and the boss called me while I was getting out of my car to tell me to go home. They regularly sent people home without pay as punishment. I didn’t stay there long.
