I opposed to the entire closed cockpit concept. In recent years there have only been a few incidents that come to memory. The Massa injury and Jules’ horrible crash were completely freak accidents. Jules’ crash was 100% avoidable if the race organizers didn’t allow a massive crane to drive onto a live circuit.

I have a Subaru legacy 6 speed with a gated Reverse that is down and to the right. I also have a 1978 280Z with a non gated reverse down and right where my 6th gear in on the subaru. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been flying down the highway and attempted to slam it into 6th (which is actually reverse).…

Changing the headlight bulbs in my Subaru Legacy is nearly impossible. It takes about an hour and a half and 30 or 40 f-bombs. Whoever designed that system should be exiled from the design engineer community.
