My wife is a huge fan of the Nancy Drew games, and they were good enough fun figuring things out. My wife, her sister and I would all sit on the same couch and figure things out together while yelling at Nancy for being an idiot. One of the games also taught me binary so I could figure out a puzzle! Though I’ve

Hello all! Nice roundup of contemporary detective games, always nice to explore different genres than the standard shooters or platformers. I have to say it’s the genre I probably have the least experience in, having basically just played Phoenix Wright. I still love returning to those games when I’ve forgotten enough

I randomly bought SSX 3 on the Xbox store for 10 bucks a few weeks ago and 100% it last night. Solid game

What Have You Finished This Week?

Salutations~!

Wellll, isn’t this serendipitous! I just came over to talk about the game I finished this last week, Detective Pikachu! More interactive novel than spicy sleuthing, it not only prepared me for the upcoming movie, but has given me a personal interest in these things called Pokemon for the first time.

The original came

So, I have a new game drive for the PS4, which has let me install a couple new things and also fix some others.

Still cost less than cable. Hulu, Disney,  Netflix, Amazon, DC, Netflix cost what altogether? Sixty at the most? Still way cheaper than cable. Of course plus whatever you pay but internet but still.

People say that but chances are they were pirating anyway.

I understand this argument, but you can always subscribe/unsubscribe each month.

Disney announces its PornHub killer!”

Asking for a friend?

(Although Civil War hedged its bets even within the film itself: The final voice message from Steve to Tony is basically an assurance that their falling-out isn’t such a big deal, and he’ll see him the next time the planet’s in peril.)

Nick Kroll is guest-starring next week with a member of his vampire gang named “Count Rapula”. “300 years living in New York, son. I didn’t start rappin’ ‘til 1991.”

This is painfully apparent by the Aussie tagline being “April forecast...Hot AF”. I wondered why they were using such a cringey ~teen slang~ tag for a movie no teenager will be able to see.

Man, the diehard DCEU chuds are gonna love this shit. Is there any cross-training in it?

You heard the man, GOGGLE IT!

Ironically this movie received the highest classification possible in Australia (R18+). The distributor tried desperately to appeal it and this review makes it clear how desperate they’ll be for the dumb teenager audience.

I’m happy the AVC (and Takeout) staff are getting paid, but less happy that they’re still a package deal with the endless wokery of Jezebel, Deadspin, Splinter, and The Root. The “related articles” that keep popping up on here for those clowncar sites drive me bonkers.

Here’s hoping that there are no staffing implications for the AVC writers, although I’m never convinced that this is possible in acquisitions.
