It’s Michael Shannon. Cocaine would be too pedestrian for him to shove up his nose.

Disney’s going to wring every dollar out of Star Wars that they can and then a few more.

“Here’s my password, go see a star war.”

Reads article, uh huh.

I think the thing about BR 2049, especially in comparison to other Villeneuve films, is that it leaned a lot heavier on the text, as opposed to the subtext. Some of his films, like Enemy, are almost entirely subtextual. That’s why I think you have a lot of people who hate it as well as Prisoners, and even Sicario,

So... new kids, same “game characters” new game? Meaning all the Rock/Jack Black/etc pairings/personalities could be totally different.

It’d be great if they brought Robin Williams in for this one.

hey man john cena is a 16 time world champion. yes, only three of those reigns occurred when the belt was referred to as the world heavyweight championship, but it’s misleading to not acknowledge his actual amount of reigns, as it’s officially tied with ric flair for most ever.

He’s making it harder for comedy writers to make up stuff about him. The actual statement he made about wedges between countries sounds like something that the Late Night TV circuit would have invented for a sketch. Except he actually said it.

That so many Americans think this is the butt of a good leader boggles my mind:

The utterly random use of capitalization and quotation marks in the fake Trump tweet were particularly nice touches I think.

“(While undoubtedly twisted and even misogynistic,”- undoubtedly misogynistic? Not sure about that. Is it strange he wanted to do it himself? Sure. Does it mean he hates women? No, I don’t see how that makes any sense.

you do realize that it was Tarantino himself that procured her the footage right? In the instagram post she straight up says she only holds accountable the producers for the cover up. Why it’s so difficult to believe her words for what they are now but not when she talked about the abuse?

Stunt drivers presumably are better trained, and might better approach how to do the stunt.

Because context matters. How information is delivered can change perception dramatically (think Fox News, or reality TV). Especially since Uma Thurman didn’t write the thing, and her words are going through someone else’s filter.

Well people seemed irrationally angry that Tarantino did those things himself in the film despite the fact that it’s likely he did them because she trusted him and they had a friendship and she’d prefer him than a stranger/crew person do it. I could be wrong of course, but that’s what I took from it. Of course people

You’d have to be totally crazy to assume Tarantino was malicious in having her drive the car or happy that she got hurt. Dangerous, stupid, careless, sure, but the sloppy writing of the original article mixed with the outraged reactions (often from people who already didn’t like the director for one reason or another)

Some of the parts that made me laugh the most where when they weren’t destroying their bodies, though. Like when Johnny pretended to be blind and got in a car and started driving it with his cane out the window.

“...Ryan Dunn, who died killed a passenger and himself in a grisly car accident while driving drunk.”
