I <3 your state!

Good question! I went and checked my one button-down, and it doesn’t even have a label. Then I checked their site and it looks like some have labels and some don’t? Even if it does, I suspect it wouldn’t be hard to remove with a seam ripper.

Hello, I would like to recommend flannel from this place. Their flannel nightshirts and pants are amazing and I live in them all the time.

it’s kind of interesting that the author doesn’t point out that Rose, Laura’s superconservative daughter, actually wrote most of the stories and fabricated a bunch of stuff. or did I miss that...?

Yep. Came here to say that too many movie musicals are Broadway-ized and really shouldn’t be.

And for this reason, it kills me every time a place that does honest-to-God reporting shuts down. I miss Racked.

wow, I had no idea 1) there were Craft conventions and 2) she’s being excluded from them. what bullshit.

This sounds absolutely terrible. But also, all my horror-loving friends who posted this on FB are harrumphing because you dared to mention the racism. HHHHOOOOWW DDDDAAAAAREEEE YOOOOOOUUUU.

I kind of love this and more made-up sex marketing things need to happen.

Oh God, oh God, oh God, “because you’re so good at it” is such a terrible and dumb excuse.

Small, random thing: I couldn’t stop staring at the news story behind James’ head  while he was talking to Lena. Apparently they could only afford two stock photos.

Not Another Teen Movie is pretty fantastic. I recently saw Bring It On for the first time and was dying all over the place at the references.

This is fascinating. I completely forgot that Katherine Heigl’s career went downhill after she said that about Knocked Up.

we bought a house specifically so we could have a library.

counterpoint: 1) don’t buy a Kindle because fuck Amazon. 2) support your local bookstore

totally agree. I foster for a local shelter, and we see a lot of senior cats—who are pretty awesome lovey-doveys. our counselors screen all potential adopters before kitties are placed.
