My late husband wasn’t vegetarian. I got asked if I cooked for him and told the person that I cooked vegetarian meals. I told her that if he wanted meat he bought and cooked it himself. No big. She then said that I was a bad wife for not cooking him dead animals.:/

I’ve been a vegetarian for almost 20 years and most of the cooking I do for myself is vegan. I don’t bother anyone about what they eat and bloody well hate self righteous vegans. The normal vegans keep it to themselves. The annoying ones go online and yammer about bananas.

Same here in Colorado. The recently immigrated population celebrates it like mad.

My grandfather was a town cop! How bold do you have to be to pull this crap when the entire police force knows the kids? They were warned to run home as fast as they could if any of their aunts or uncles approached them on the street. Fences were mended when they were older but it was nonsense when they were young.

Bless you. That’s way too young and I hope you’re able to stay strong and hold onto the love you had. We lost my mom when she was 44 and 25 years later I still have an occasional long, ugly cry about it. My condolences.
