If you were going to drown under pounds of wool you might as well look seaworthy.

I was born in that town. I need to get back for a visit. Love the nuclear power plant behind you

This was my Gram in her early 20’s bathing suit. (wouldn’t have wanted to swim in that sucker). She was once hauled off to jail for being on the men’s beach.

Apropos of nothing, I love that dress second from the right. And when the hell are people going to get over themselves?

Haven’t heard this in years. Just had a great singalong..

My boyfriend was one of those kids who caught everything despite being vaccinated. Measles, mumps, scarlet fever. He’s healthy as a horse but has impaired hearing and a heart murmur. I imagine he would have been even worse off if he hadn’t been vaccinated. Why would you take that chance with your kids? My grandfather

Nooo! Rest in peace you wonderful master of kitsch.

Same reason I wish people still wore mourning bands.

Insanity and vitriol.

I was(am) an avid reader. Fortunately my mom watched my reading material like a hawk. At 46 I still remember horrifying things I read in the Chicago paper as a young child. These books would have done me in.

Ooh, my favorite chunk of British history. Must read!

Where is Jon Lovitz when you need him?

You take that back, you Swede you!

I was in my uncle’s wedding. Floppy hats and I wore a bonnet. Gee I don’t miss the seventies.

Through my haze of shock at losing my husband, I insisted on getting an appropriate funeral outfit. It was tossed into a donation bag afterwards. My in-laws did wear jeans and T-shirts but my husband would never have recognized them otherwise. You grieve in your own way.

He should be barrel rolled. Right off a cliff.

Roger Taylor all the damned way!

I don’t live in the fancy mountains. I live in the regular small town mountains. Within range of regular grocery stores and internet access.:)

I worked in Arvada for eleven years. I really do like that town.

I lived at Iliff and Chambers for exactly six weeks. Scared the hell out of me. Been in the mountains for almost twenty years now and no amount of money could lure me back down.
