So many of my guy friends have taken their wives maiden names as a middle name - I can think of 6 including my husband.

My husband and I did that, but he ALSO took my maiden name as a second middle. So rad.

The best part is that my last name rhymes with his middle name, so his legal name is Dornell Frank Rank…

I think you need incandescent bulbs that get really hot in order for it to work - not sure if the CFLs are hot enough. That being said, I remember putting some oil on a bulb once and it got so hot that it broke the bulb.

Babytheft (and pretty much all of her peers) was required to come back to the hospital for a check-up when she was 4 or 5 days old (funny how time melds together in those early days) and once we were there I realized it was as much a check-up of the mom as it was the baby. Sure, they gave her a good going-over, but…
