I came here to post this. Faster acceleration than an Enzo, Higher top speed than the Enzo, Better looking than an Enzo (IMO), and still gets shit on by everyone.
Better looking too. The Enzo was the launch of Ferrari’s foray into ugly.
I always loved that thing as a kid!
Nonetheless it was still faster
Because reskinned Enzo.
Had one of those once. What a piece of crap. Still, in southern California it wasn’t bad, because convertible.
The US got the Suzuki Swift, too. As I recall the Turbo Swift was a fast little pocket rocket that maybe 12 people bought.
Kei car kingdom highly diverse. Minivans, sports cars, suburbanite tall wagons, trucks, everything.
Yes... there’s pretty specific size (physical) and displacement restrictions. I believe there are many 4+ seater kei cars, but as I’ve only ever experienced them in the Gran Tourismo video games and never bothered to google interior specs/pictures, that’s just wild speculation.
Wasn’t even fully american if I remember right, joint badge engineered Suzuki Swift, from the same era as Geo Traker/Suzuki Sidekick. I believe the 3cyl was a US thing, though, as Swifts had a 1.3 I4 IIRC.
I thought kei cars are just tiny two seaters with engines less than 4cylinders. But I'm probably wrong
I don’t even think it’s a kei car- isn’t the displacement limit on keis 600cc? The Metro had a 1.0L 3 cylinder.
The Land Rover Freelander is finally old enough to be moved into the company’s “Heritage Collection.” Is it time to start calling these little crapkickers “classics” yet? [Image: Land Rover]
