I think you're being optimistic.
I think you're being optimistic.
So BMW voluntarily chose not to claim the additional 75 horse and 100 lb ft? And they did this why?
Nor would I if I didn't have interest.
Z06, ZR1, GT500, B302, ZL1, Z/28 etc....they all put ADM stickers on these cars. It's aggravating when you can go into a Euro dealer and not have to deal with that crap. Even with a new model.
The GT350 is the car that will cause the euro fan boys to question their allegiance.
I don't get it with American car dealers and their high performance models. You can walk into a Merc, BMW or Audi dealer and they're willing to deal on a RS5, M4, or C63 AMG.
I had some initial interest until I sat in one. That car is way too tight inside. Your eyesight straight out the windshield is literally at the headliner. Foot controls to the left. Other than that the car looks great it's just too bad that for a 6'0 200 lb avg American the car just doesn't fit.
Bieber takes it. That guy has no competition in this race.
I never used to be. I was firmly it the German car camp (911's, E46, RS4 etc) but times are changing and lately the big three are relevant again which is good to see for us 'Murkins.
If I wanted another 911 I think the GTS would be it. Closer to the GT3 but more compliant for everyday driving.
Agreed. Great road trip car for sure. It has its niche but everyday DD it was too big for me.
And history is in the past. Unless BMW starts to drastically redesign their cars the glory days are over. With the upcoming GT350, Camaro, possible future 'Cuda, and BMW's price point there is zero reason to get into a M4 now. I had one on order. It came and went. It just wasn't exciting enough.
Far more power, competitive weight. I don't see where the M4 will be competitive.
Better than expected yes but still a huge missed opportunity to be competitive with the latest offerings. I had a '12 Challenger SRT8. It looked great but that about it.
The Hellcat is a one trick pony. Unfortunately Dodge chose to throw horsepower at the big and bloated LX chassis instead of producing a Mustang sized 'Cuda with the Ghibli chassis. They missed a huge opportunity to have something relevant and competitive to the new S550 Mustang and next years' Camaro.
No because I'm fond of a warranty lol. I don't baby my shit but I also don't do big smokies in the dealers lot right after I handed them a check for the car.
Because of the DRC warranty I couldn't trust them so I elected not to have the intakes removed. I sold both Audis and moved on because of their stance on the carbon buildup. I loved those cars but I lost faith in the company after they pulled that on me.
Yep I purchased Audicare from day one of owning both vehicles and had all services performed timely at the same dealer. AOA had a TSB out for DRC shocks 'sweating'. The TSB said that hydraulic fluid sweating was normal. Well we all know that if you see hydraulic fluid outside of the shocks the seals have likely…
What a couple of dopes. Not impressed.
If they were really concerned about speed they would mandate governors on all street legal cars. It's not about safety, it's purely about revenue generation under the guise of safety.
