Cops need to understand that we tax payers pay their salary. They are, in fact, public servants. They are not paid to have an opinion. Stop crime, that's it and don't tweet about it as public display of your power of the badge over us. How is that serving us? How does that put them in a positive light? All it does is

You mean like AOA calling the failed DRC suspension seals on my old RS4 'sweating'? Yeah so how exactly does hydraulic fluid 'sweat' through the metal in the shocks? Or the carbon buildup on both my old RS4 and my wife's old Q7? Or on my since sold GT3, how about passing the buck onto the owners of GT3's for the whole

Do you think they would have tweeted what they did if the guy was in a shitbox?

That guy probably earned enough money to pay for that ticket and impound in the amount of time it took you to comment about it. Go swim in that envy for a while...

With all the shit going on that involves them they just seem to want to keep digging that hole deeper and deeper.

I'm not saying that the guy shouldn't have received the ticket, but the cops are just being what they always are....dicks.

A cop's job is to enforce the law and not mock. That tweet is so full of seething resentment it actually disgusts me.

I can hear the whine from the Porsche fan boys already !!! HERITAGE, TRADITION, TROPHYS....the 911 is better, I don't care what anybody says IT'S BETTER IT'S BETTER IT'S BETTER...NO IT REALLY IS !!! And we have Rennlist lol...

I agree with you. I light up when I see one but others get lit up in a different way and thats the problem with owning one.

You know I hear you. my opinion is that anyone should buy anything they want if they have the means.

The Ferrari dealer sounds to be a level worse than the Porsche dealer. For me it's just no longer worth it to have a $100K+ car. You can't really use it anywhere except for a track (I do trackdays on sport bikes) then you worry about wadding it up while there, you worry about it everywhere you go, everywhere you park

Everything is and just about everybody is as well. We're talking about cars driven 95% of the time on street correct? Sports cars (speed limits) trucks (hauling or towing nothing) Audis in Arizona (where it doesn't rain) any 4X4 that isn't in the mud or snow. Prius drivers who gets their electricity from coal plants.

'Speeding' is arbitrary. If you can slow yourself down and avoid harming others how exactly is going 55 in a 45 'speeding' ?

If you'd take the time to read this discussion you might rethink that. They gather in mass primarily to gain immunity over the fuzz and traffic laws. How is that not a social statement protesting traffic laws?

All I'm saying is that dick behavior just gets you more behavior like this. Cops are thugs that harass everyone simply commuting to work. Saturation patrols are a clear example of this. These squids gather in mass as a big fuck you to the cops.

I agree and definitely do not advocate this sort of behavior. The reason why they pack up and do this however is to gain immunity from draconian traffic laws and overzealous cops who harass them when they're riding alone.

I agree with you in general but it's likely that their behavior stems (at least partially) from their prior experiences with getting pulled over for petty offenses. I'm not one of these nor ever have been one of these squids guys. I don't even ride on the street anymore.

Cops do the very thing they give tickets out for driving home from work and 99% of the time they get home safety while 'speeding'

Yeah you keep it classy by giving tickets to those who only go 10 over....all day long. Traffic cops are leaches to society. Just exactly what is the ratio of soccer moms to reckless idiots actually endangering society? I bet that badge gives you a big woody every time you look at it doesn't it?

You take the 'safety' bait hook, line and sinker...
