I’m quite scared for what’s going to happen in Virginia. While my own state, Ohio, seems clearly headed toward enshrining abortion rights in the constitution, Virginia is a different ballgame. We’ve seen several times now that when people get to vote on the issue of abortion, they vote for reproductive freedom. But

None of them are going to touch those things. They’re going to take one look at those flat panels and peace out. How in the world is this thing going to get put back together after a crash. I can’t think of any body shop in the world that wants to deal with something like this.

Perfect for all your coke snorting needs!

I have a hunch that Musk and Tesla do designs like this basically to send a message to other automakers and the world that “THIS is what we are capable of. You should be worried.”

The picture is terrible. I hope that the tattoo isn’t also terrible, but I fear it might be.

I was a Netflix subscriber for more than a decade before dropping the subscription earlier this year for the same reason: It costs double what it did when I started, and the content is worse. I found out when I did that they’ll save your lists/preferences for 11 months before deleting it, so as long as you subscribe

Yeah, that would make me break out in hives. Luckily, I believe in different strokes for different folks. If it works for you, have at it. I don’t thrive in that kind of organizational environment. My kitchen is for cooking, and the home office is for organizing and household administration. The only thing we really

Yeah, I live in an area of the country known affectionately as the snow belt, and I can’t think of a single person I know who puts snow tires on their cars. We just put good all-season tires on and then, when it snows, we learn how to drive in it without being an idiot. I’ve driven boring compact cars and hatchbacks

I didn’t mind when our fridge became non-magnetic years ago because I hated how it became an unorganized catch-all for all kinds of crap. “You didn’t see that permission slip? I put it on the refrigerator.” Nope. This is not the way I want to get shit done in this house. Plus, I’m one of those people who hate the look

I’m actually watching with great curiosity to see if more of my fellow Ohioans vote for abortion or for recreational weed. I genuinely don’t know how it’s going to go, because old people can be so weird about marijuana. Like, both of my folks are liberal, but I’m sure that they both voted for Issue 1 (abortion rights)

I saw it once but haven’t seen it in a while. I’m just kind of hoping that the ad blockers will adjust and find workarounds for whatever YouTube tries. Necessity being the mother of invention and all that...

So according to the source article, the process works like this: A patient has to schedule an appointment. Then they get directed to a state website, which then directs you to another website, which then asks the patient to click through to another site for patients. The site they ultimately end up on is cluttered

This. I don’t know how anyone can read that thoroughly compiled compendium of Nyad’s lies and still think there was any way in hell that she completed that swim unassisted. While I would love to watch an Annette Bening/Jodie Foster vehicle, I won’t be able to sit through this knowing that Nyad likely lied her ass off

DeWine is a petty bitch who has been masquerading as a moderate for far too long by not saying the quiet parts out loud. But make no mistake, he is a petty, petty bitch. Case in point: Mike DeWine is short (probably 5'5" or 5'6"), and I was able to interview him once when he was a senator. He made sure he was seated

Yeah, the only real “hack” to airline fares is to be fucking vigilant. Figure out where and when you’re going early, and then track the flights and fares you’re interested in. Get a sense of where they hover so that you’ll know if/when a good deal comes along. For example, I know that I’ll have to take a few trips a

We would be compatible travel buddies, and I don’t say that about many people. But spinner luggage is utter shite; their wheels break far more often than they should. I will rock a rollaboard with 2 wheels forever. It’s hard to find a hard shell carry on with two wheels. But I would use soft sided regardless.

There’s an editing window of like 10-15 minutes. After that, you can’t edit. At least that’s how it is for me.

I just put all my faith in the mythical powers of a box spring cover. And a mattress cover as well. All it took was one near run-in with bedbugs to convince me to never leave either my mattress or box springs uncovered again. Now both are in bedbug-proof covers that can be removed and hand-washed in the tub. (Now,

And if you’re stir frying, go with an oil that is on the thinner with a high smoke point. Peanut oil is traditional along with canola oil. Sunflower oil also works well. All have a smoke point around 450 degrees. Olive oil doesn’t work well because it smokes before the wok/skillet gets hot enough to effectively stir
