I definitely skip the episodes with SNL cast members because he basically makes them feel sorry for him that he never made it to SNL. It makes me cringe and unless I really like his guest, I usually skip his podcast.

I don’t think anything would make me give Maron’s podcast a fifth chance. His need to ask and re-ask the same question over and over, as the guest is struggling to answer over him became too much to bear.

generally, it’s a fear of specific things as a result of how you were raised or taught. Like, people are scared of spiders, but not mosquitoes. But spiders don’t typically bite people, and they don’t carry diseases that we are worried about, where as mosquitoes are all those things.
