A 100-mile round trip commute is an edge case. The average US commute is about 20.

I’ve heard this notion before, that once the “early adopters” are exhausted that the EV market will collapse somehow. But Tesla sales continue to swell and EV market share continues to grow worldwide.
Like it or not, the pre-production status automatically makes this collectible. The Boss trim is collectible in its own right, and this particular generation of ‘Stang is generally pretty well-loved. So NP from me.
Do I like this car? Not particularly. The price seems a little high, but honestly, this has potential as a movie car so that alone might justify it if everything else is reasonably solid.
Nissan is stubbornly staying with ChaDeMo charging on the Leaf, sadly. They could likely address that fairly easily but they’ve likely decided it isn’t worth the effort.
Fun fact about the Toronado: that horizontal grille was a subtle tribute to the Cord 812, considered to be the first “successful” American FWD car.
The price is high but given the overall condition... I’m going to go NP on this one.
If I were in Toyota marketing I’d leave the harder core offroad market to the new Land Cruiser and make the 4Runner more lux/family oriented.
My question here: this looks to be roughly the same size as the 4Runner; what’s going to happen with it?
I like these mods. I don’t want to like them, but I like them.
I’m not going to wish death on even willfully ignorant people
In Boebert’s and MTG’s case, it works both ways
Exactly. The regen can be precisely controlled.
Seriously, the regen braking is better than any ABS ever made. WAY better control of lockup.
eAWD is pretty amazing. My AWD Mach-E is absolutely the best winter driver I’ve ever had. I don’t even swap out for snow tires.
Yeah, I gotta say the ur-Quattro was the first car that came to mind.
Maybe let’s remember that becoming Tesla cost TESLA billions of dollars, too...
Please tell me you’ll be covering Kraftwerk
Not nuts about the rotary dial, because it doesn’t work by feel (my Ford has one and I’m not a big fan). Buttons can, though, especially if they’re thoughtfully designed.
God help me I’m giving this NP.
