I love how people get pissed when the DMV “censors their free expression”.

Works either way lol

I dunno... Chevy just reformulated the ‘Vette, too.

If BMW can call the X6 a “coupe”, the Mach-E can be a Mustang.

There’s a rumor that the 2nd gen Mach-E will offer a 2-dr version and I would be ALL OVER that. No, I’m not nuts about the MME just being a 4-dr hatch, but at least they gave it pretty decent styling. I get compliments all the time, especially from people who have no idea it’s an EV.

NP with significant reservations. I’d want a full maintenance history. Yes, the WalMart tires are a red flag, and I’d be on the lookout for others, but this is a beautiful car and if I can establish that it’s basically sound, I’d do it.

*sigh* For the millionth time, YES, the Mach-E is a Mustang.

Depending on the typical daily drive, you may not need a home Level 2 charger. I manage just fine in my rental home with the L1 that came with my car.

Most new ICE cars are similarly connected.

The big issue here is Tesla, and the way they dropped their prices. It puts Ford in a hard spot, since they were already losing money on these cars. There’s no shame in losing money on a brand new platform employing tech you’ve never used before, but at some point it begins to affect the viability of the company.

“selvage” title and all, I’d still say this is NP. Now, would I actually buy it? No. I could live with the yoke, but the lack of a heat pump has become a dealbreaker for me after a year with a Mach-E.

This came out when I was 12 and I immediately fell hopelessly in love. And since literally no other car had an electronic dash at the time, I thought that was just impossibly cool.

The big difference is that semis are a HUGE no-no at Buc-ee’s. They’re strictly a consumer outlet.

Nah, they’d just do it on the edge of the parking, though it would be fantastic if they put solar canopies out, too. So far as that goes, there’s a ton of roof space that could probably accommodate a good 150 kW of solar...

100% on that. And you’d think the stores would be happy to have captive customers hanging around for 30-45 minutes.

Bear in mind that this partnership isn’t selling a car, they’re selling an experience. The fruit of this isn’t going to be a specific model, but a platform they can apply to future Honda EVs, or even sell to other manufacturers.

That dashtop would likely be an easy replace, too. Wouldn’t surprise me if there’s a few OEMs out there making NOS ones.

Yeah, this really remains THE classic big Benz.

Moose, elk, deer, etc...

Conditional NP, assuming that Carfax doesn’t show a dealbreaker and I could get insurance with that rebuilt title (not impossible). It’s a nice car!
