As a Mach-E owner, I don’t even think of it as a “crossover”. It’s a 4 dr hatchback. I have to climb down to get into it, and it’s got roughly the same H-point and cabin height of a ‘70 Mustang coupe (if you allow a foot for the battery pack), and it’s almost the exact same width/length footprint as that ‘70 model too.…

The Mach-E already represents a “5-door coupe”. Yes, it’s a low roofline (the back seat is comfortable but getting in and out is awkward), so no, I don’t think Ford is going to produce a “coupified” version with four side doors.

I liked this car at the time, and I still like it now. It’s not the lovely thing the original Legend Coupe was, really more like Honda’s interpretation of a Buick Riviera, but I miss personal lux coupes anyway. If this were on the market locally I’d want to at least cruise by and look at it.

There was a V8 4Runner for a couple of years so we know it fits.

Not to mention, when the old Frontier and the original Titan were introduced they shared essentially the same frame with some spacing differences. A Titan V8 swap in the older Frontier was popular. And the new Frontier is essentially on the same platform.
