If not the actual GOAT it’s a great candidate for “GM’s GOAT”, at least. This was a fantastic platform. Used to drive for an expediter who had a couple of Duramax GMCs in the fleet and they were a dream to drive.

I’ve always liked these a lot (never quite figured out the hate, tbh). I’m really digging this one, too. It’s super-clean and that’s a cool color.

The key is that ability to wrench yourself. If you have the tools and ability to maintain this (and maybe have a good ability to evaluate used parts), this could do well for you for awhile. I’m not quite in that league but I have buddies who are, so...

(SHHHH! DON’T MAKE HIM TELL THE *LONG* VERSION!!)

Another instance where “Is this a nice price?” collides with “Would I touch it with a 10' pole at ANY price?”

Yeah, this is dumb on multiple levels. First off, the steering wheel is the absolute last place I want to be looking for critical info, since it’s so far removed from my field of vision when I’m, like, watching the road the way I’m supposed to be. I do like the signal at the top of the wheel for SuperCruise, sure,

It would be completely appropriate in large retirement communities like The Villages or Sun City.

Since Waymo isn’t disclosing exactly what the criteria is for the riders they’re approving, we can’t even say for sure that it isn’t driven by racism here, either...

Personally, I’d just like to see a Six Feet Under spin-off centered on Wilson’s character...

Thanks for this, if anything, I’m all the more impressed with Nissan’s ability to craft a seemingly all-new car on the bones of its predecessor. I honestly love what they’ve done here and it’s a completely different character.

I’m 6'2" and I was fine in the 370Z. Once I successfully climbed in.

Quite a few trucks did this for awhile, but many changed to a conventional front-hinged back door for exactly this reason (like: GM full-size, Toyota Tundra).

I left myself a little wiggle-room with by saying “I can’t think of any off the top of my head”. Let’s be honest, though, that wasn’t the usual practice.

I can’t think of any 2 door cars off the top of my head that used the same doors as a 4dr.

Nope. That shorter distance between the A and B pillars in a sedan distributes side impacts better.

This is a terribly disappointing car, honestly.

I’m really, really missing 2dr cars. Almost every car used to come as a 2-door (not even necessarily a “coupe”).

I remember driving that gen of Accord. That was the sweet spot before they grew to the US midsize standard and that cabin honestly had freakin AMAZING ergonomics.

I personally wouldn’t buy this (despite being something of a Buick fan and still missing my ‘81 Park Avenue 2dr), but it seems pretty clean. If nothing else, this would be a perfect first car for my 17yo.

Yeah, I had a Previa with that. Neat feature though I admit I didn’t use it much.
