The TLX is really nice. The MDX? Eh...
If sales are remaining steady there’s little pressure to upgrade. Even so, I’m assuming the updates were kind of part of the effort to consolidate production lines, and they’d still want to free up the space.
Somebody needs their meds reviewed.
I strongly doubt there’s a majority of EV owners who don’t own an ICE vehicle as well, at least just yet.
Gotta say, I don’t get the assumption that e-bike shoppers are bargain hunters. I can see this selling very well with the tech-savvy.
I dunno... I find the current Accord looks somehow... French? It’s got that large Peugeot/Citroen kind of vibe to it. Personally I dig it.
I don’t have a lot of hope they’ll do a manual in any version of the new Escape, but maybe Ford will surprise us.
When I’m driving on the highway through the fluffy white stuff, it gets plastered to the front emblem. The radar can’t read objects ahead through a fine layer of snow or ice, so it shuts off completely. From there, you have no cruise control whatsoever, which is a minor inconvenience over traditional cruise.
The new Escape really does look a lot like the new Focus wagon with a little added height. I wouldn’t be surprised to see an RS or ST version, either.
It’s hard to sum Iacocca up in a short piece like this. Ford in the 1960s was very much on its game not just in North America but around the world. He drove a lot of their innovation. He was blunt, to be sure, and I don’t know if I would have wanted to work for him myself, but I admire what he achieved.
Yes, and your point...?
It’s a simple, clean design. Very evocative of Honda’s early (pre-Civic) hatchback.
If I buy one of these I’ll kill two birds with one stone:
I’d bet lots of money that for parking it will have one of those cool overhead camera dealies
Exactly. This is a work truck. I personally have no need for this but I completely respect those who do.
I live in the Yukon Territory (really). In the month around the summer solstice we get around 20 hours of direct sunlight.
Not that this is my kind of thing, personally, but I live in the Yukon Territory and there are a LOT of surveyors, drillers, etc who use trucks like this for legit off-road work.
CP. Good platform for a project car. Would love to see this maybe with a Cummins swap, but in its current form it’s pretty questionable. And not worth the asking $$$.
Javier Bardem was criminally wasted in Skyfall. His character just seemed to be a parody of the one he played in No Country for Old Men.
