Not my thing, so I wouldn’t spend the money, but no question it’s an NP for what it is.

I would actually own this (I want a convertible for my mid-life crisis), but $8k is too damn much, clean as this one is. $6,000 maybe.

I’m so sorry. Thank you for this.

Hybrids make tons of sense in heavier vehicles*, which have all the more momentum to capture and convert to electricity with regen braking.

Agreed. Shah’s situation sounds unfortunate but what’s described here hardly seems like a major risk. From the sounds of it you might classify him as “risk factors present” rather than “immediate concern”.

I have to admit I wasn’t aware that pedestrian deaths are up. It would be nice to think that auto-braking systems will help with that.

As lovely as it was to see the Bruins lose, that they did it on Marchand’s fuck up is just icing on the cake.

I find the Camargue a little cleaner, and an interesting attempt to modernize RR’s design language.

2nd Gear: Hydrogen shouldn’t be considered a “propulsion” technology so much as an energy storage solution. There’s no reason why a BEV couldn’t also contain H2 tanks. In fact, that makes a lot more sense for extending range and fast refueling than an ICE backup does.

B) only holds in heavy traffic, and that’s not the only circumstance where there’s a collision risk. I stand by my comment.

I’m thinking of stuff like CR-Vs, RAV4s, and Escapes, which have come to dominate the market. I can’t imagine that those would be harder for you or your sister to get in/out of.

My theory is that the improved visibility has given SUV/CUV drivers more chance to avoid impending collisions.

I recall once hearing that the very first dimension designers determine when creating a new car is the H-point—the distance from the road surface to the driver’s hip. I am guessing that compared to the 1990s the fleet average H-point has increased a good 3-4".

An underrated classic.

I have half a mind to go for a Cadillac ELR. Whatever anyone says, that's still one of the best looking plugin cars yet.

The ad may not mention the condition of the rubber, but from what we can see in the pics the tires look pretty good.

I live in the Yukon Territory (the part of Canada that borders Alaska). We have SEVERAL of these as used JDM imports running around town.

Battery packs are routinely outlasting projected life, so while I’d be somewhat wary, this still looks like a pretty good deal. NP.
