I wonder if this semi-lux segment is seeing some rejuvenation due to Uber/Lyft drivers?

If all goes well, though, as Tesla gets past the adoption curve and becomes capable of efficient mass-production, their product will become more competitive in its own right.

Not fair to call it a “fine”. Emissions credits allow flexibility and market-driven solutions. The concept can be extended to all kinds of industries to help newer, cleaner tech get off the ground.

Emissions credits have helped Tesla as they’ve developed a relatively new technology. It helps them get over the adoption curve.

Really, the wreck looks pretty minor.

Tracey Morgan should just seriously think about staying away from cars completely.

I wish it wasn’t so hard to get past the body’s remarkable resemblance to the current Mustang. That doesn’t help (though 600+ horses does).

This is essentially a marketing effort for Volvo service departments, and it’s good for the customer in that it simplifies emergency repairs somewhat, but I’m sure they’re making that money back one way or another.

I’m going all-in on this. That roof rack alone is worth upwards of $500.

A couple of counter-points: when the provincial government in Ontario recently canceled EV incentives, sales plummeted so I don’t quite accept the “people would buy them anyway” argument.

I live in a small city where this would be an EXTREMELY welcome addition to the local taxi fleet.

I think Cadillac is already being dismantled and they just haven’t announced it yet.

I like the way you think. Find a way to space those rear wheels out while you’re at it and I think this could be a keeper.

In Canada, A&W started serving the Beyond Meat burger on a temporary basis last year, and it was so popular that it was added to the menu permanently. It has become my go-to order now whenever I go.
