It is horrible. And awesome.

I don’t think the EU is applying tariffs to the inbound BMWs or M-Bs

People for the Ethical Treatment of ‘Bots?

God help me. I like him.

That’s a common release strategy for all kinds of media: if a movie sequel is coming out, put the Blu-Ray for the original on sale at WalMart a few weeks before. If a band had a new album coming out, get their older stuff playing on the radio a little more.

More of a RAV-4

That is still the most awesome-looking sedan EVER.

I thought I heard about some CX-4 thingie that sounded a lot like a lifted version of this.

Not every piece of history can or should be preserved.

I live in the sparsely-populated Yukon Territory, an area the size of Texas with fewer than 40k population. Someone here has one.

There was one interesting thing about the Aspen: it was available as a hybrid, using the same tech as the GM SUVs.

Any new luxury coupe to come to market makes me happy, but I think I’d still take a Lexus LC over this... (just me)

The top trim 200—with upwards of 300hp and AWD—wasn’t actually a horrible car.

Oh this gets ALL the stars

I would actually seriously consider this exact car, except I HATE that color. And the shiny wheels.

I’m pretty sure that “better visibility” argument is kinda BS anyway. The higher seating in a CUV is going to provide much more benefit than the closer rear window in a sedan.

I remember reading a long time ago that the very first dimension that’s determined in a new car design is the “H-point”; the distance between the ground and the driver’s hip. Once that dimension is determined, literally everything else builds around it.

My best friend died by suicide a few months ago. It’s been a rough week and I send my best wishes.

I’m the one saying to cut him some slack. I’m seeing a lot of very negative sentiment toward Tesla in general and Musk in particular these days, and at least some of it is because of his own bluster.

There’s such a thing as balance. It’s audacious to make wild claims, but if you establish a track record for hardly ever making good on them people start to tune you out. That’s the risk Musk is running now.
