Sounds like I’m going to have to double my efforts at being a suppressive person.

BROWS, YES!

First of all, I’m not stupid enough to think that anti-semitism had disappeared from the earth. This was a very visible crime, probably committed because of the current political climate. The fact that anyone would do this, on this scale, and believe they could get away with it is what shocks me.

YES SO GOOD! Watched the sub, then the dub, and having a Marathon party with friends this weekend! I’m also the weeb who pre-ordered the nendoroid Yuri figure. This is the first anime I’ve felt this passionately about in a while.

I loved it. Yuri is loosely based on Tatsuki Machida and some have suggested that Viktor is kind of a Stephane Lambiel/Daisuke Takahashi mash up. As a figure skating obsessed person I went DEEP into the rabbit hole with this one.

My son and his best friend are huge fans.

No wonder Melania always squints.

I think the GOP always intended to take him out of office, but meant for it to happen right before the midterms. They pass unpopular things they’ve always wanted, blame Cheetolini, then yank him. But that’s when they thought they could control him. I think all bets are off now.

First time he vetoes something. Because to the GOP the only high crime or misdemeanor is party disloyalty.

My money’s on a stroke. He’ll literally blow a gasket about somebody being mean to him quoting his lies.

Get that guy an EMF reader and the location of the Lincoln bedroom. With Lincoln’s ghost he won’t be lonely and he won’t be bored.

If there were some absolutely bonkers Russian shit (come on piss video), you might be able to get the Dems plus some fraction of the Republicans to impeach him (would obviously have to include both Ryan and McConnell, so that makes it less likely).

FAKE NEWS!

Or as our esteemed former pres said, “there’s a saying in Tennessee—well, it’s a saying in Texas, probably Tennessee—fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, won’t get fooled again.”

Grave of the Fireflies for me as well. I saw that at an anime convention and sobbed. My second vote goes to Edward Scissorhands. I was pretty young when I saw that in the theater and cried. The reason is because that was when the realities of aging and death truly hit me.

The “Jurassic Bark” episode of Futurama can fuck right the fuck off.

Requiem for a Dream. Not only soul-crushingly sad but that final montage of all of them hitting rock bottom genuinely freaked me the fuck out the first time I saw it. I’m not easily rattled at all and my mouth was wide open and I was hiding behind my pillow as I watched.

Plague Dogs. Cried for at least an hour, and I think the sadness lingered a couple of days. The final scene is one of the most heartbreaking I’ve ever seen.

I understood it immediately.
