Well, if enough people cast symbolic votes in protest, I guess it’s not surprising if their votes end up counting for something. I don’t know, I'm still in shock — now I know how non-US people feel during the elections tbh.

Right? Not to mention there are other campus in the UMN system that are easier to get into, and then transfer to TC. I admit, it kinda hurt me not to get to into UW-Madison, especially because my guidance counselor let it slip that she thought it was a better school than TC, but that was just a twinge. I loved the U,

I think it’s the bird articles that give me the most joy of anything Gawker Media produces. EVEN THO IT REALLY SEEMS LIKE SOMEONE IS USING BIRDS AS A COVER FOR HUMAN INIQUITY.

Uh huh. So I take it that they’re to going to entirely discontinue Fair & Lovely? That promotes stereotypes that only fair-skinned women are beautiful, right? Or is this just a feel-good gesture aimed at female consumers in the West, I ask rhetorically.

Sad Affleck or Drunk Affleck, who would you choose?

Can I say that I love your username/Knope-ish philosophy? It's adorable.

I’m neither in nor going to a wedding this summer. I feel rejected ... but also happy that I don't have to go through all of this.

I might watch this, but only for the seagull.

Heck yeah!

Well, life is a rich tapestry. You can be an entitled white girl AND set up as a stool pigeon for conservative activists who want to totally dismantle race-conscious admissions.

But even white people get rejected sometimes! Has she never seen the first half of any romcom?

When will entitled lady babies like Abby Fisher get justice????? ... But for real, I got into a state school (ski-u-mah 4 ever) just two years before her and I’ve been following this case ever since. I’ll never understand why she couldn’t just take the rejection and move on with her life, like everyone has to.

Honestly, that's when my bad feelings about Fall Out Boy began, in high school. At some point I had all of the lyrics for "Sugar, We're Going Down" and I had never willingly listened to that song.

Fall Out Boy is always a mistake.

The only thing waist trainers are supposed to do is make you uncomfortable. That is literally it.

Let’s see here, ranked on wouldness: Pratt (yes, but only as Andy Dwyer), Evans (yes, but only as WWII Cap), Pine (no, never), Hemsworth (no, because I don’t want to destroy his beautiful family.)

Almonds also require tons and tons of water to grow.

I looooooove this podcast so damn much, especially when it introduces me unknown-to-me actors whose stuff I want to follow with. Last time it happened was with Judy Holiday. What a profile! ... If I have a complaint, it’s a very mild one — Longworth doesn’t really seem to like Ava Gardner so much. It’s kind of jarring

Well, a pocket Constitution — the kind issued to all Yung Repubs the year they finally molt — when aimed correctly...

I do understand that in this, and in most, articles about millennials, they’re talking about young (but lbr not *that* young) middle-class white people. Just because you happen to be born in the late eighties/early nineties (whatever the cut off is) doesn't make you that vaunted ~millennial that advertisers long for.
