I have always loved coupons! My parents taught me to feel almost physical pain at paying full-price at anything. Gotta hustle, gotta haggle.

I will miss retweeting them with a mean chuckle at the expense of the celebrity being mocked. Sad!

All right, so who was your fave in elementary school? Mine was Ginger Spice for the sophisticated reason that I thought her hair was great.

I’m glad John McCain is doing his best to assure the American public his reputation of being a ‘maverick’ and ‘reasonable’ was a grave error of judgment on everyone’s part. Thanks, John.

I really appreciate you writing this. I’m pretty much the Muslim equivalent of the Christian who only goes to church at Easter (my mom calls in to remind me that it’s Ramadan), but I’m always ready to hear from people who are sincerely trying to practice the faith, in face of great difficulty from within & without. Pretty much anything tastes great for the first five minutes of breaking a fast, but in my family we usually focus on sweet things and fried things so it’s always good.

I read every one of her books that the library had. I loved them, they were perfect for my drama-looking thirteen year old soul. RIP, Lois Duncan, you canny murder-y goddess!

Yep, those sneaky and underhanded union recruiters!! It’s sad though, they’re trading in on people’s desperation and ignorance of the law.

I worked at a Macy’s (and Bloomingdale’s) distribution center for a few months during the peak season and I definitely remember getting a handout during orientation about the evils of unionization. I desperately needed the job at the time, so I sat on my hands, but — it really felt bad.

Gimme, babe. I’m 22/24 and it’s hard to find stuff that looks good.

I really want to get my hands on one of those Stop Staring! dresses, but alas, I lack the zaftig figure needed to make it work.

Ha, wow, that's not great. I feel deprived now!!

I thought I would spurge on my first purchase and — one of the dresses was super great and looked great on me, so I'm keeping it. But the other one and the shoes are going right back. The shoes especially were wicked narrow and tbh a place like H&M has better quality.

That is a cute blouse. But I'm totally disillusioned with Modcloth at the moment. I bought some dresses from them after stalking the site for yeeeeeears and the quality is just not worth the price.

This kind of principled stand on an issue that sorely needs it is making me incredibly disorientated. I’m like a deaf bat. Which way to the cave??

Hope he doesn't get the vapors.

As Aaron Sorkin taught us, the internet is written in ink, Mark.

PREACH! Hazy pictures of white ladies in flowy lace dresses, equally hazy photos of lemonade and butter cookies that honestly didn’t look that good. Victoria was peak #aesthetic. I loved it.

Probably not! I'm from the upper Midwest. Dayton's used to be a big department store, but now it's just the last name of Minnesota's governor. (Who is a cool dude, but the store was cooler. They went all out for take your kid to work day.)
