That's a SS (Single Segment) run, and a lot of games have that as a separate category. Generally, Segmented runs are used when luck is a factor (to manipulate the luck), during long games (RPGs), but the trade off is that, in judging (at least at SDA) they're expected to be of a much higher quality.

Look at what they've done on the XBL side... it's a failure waiting to happen, they can't even handle gaming reviews/etc. on a dedicated platform with dedicated staff and a limited system. If W8 cert is anything like XBL cert, it's doomed.
