Ditto. This is one, that if you’re into, is great. I’d try to get through the first season and see how you feel. It’s only 12 episodes at 20 minutes-ish each. It’s very polarizing though, so don’t feel bad if it’s not your thing.

I think that the assumption is that Ford is doing this to lower the price of the car. They aren’t. They are lowering the manufacturing cost to themselves to increase their bottom line.

I had a bad brake line on a 1985 F150 and couldn’t afford to fix it at the time. I cut the line, crushed it, then rolled it up. It held fine and never leaked. I never got around to fixing it (10 years?) when the oil pump driveshaft let go and killed her.

As a master tech, it’s not likely the tire was slashed. It looks like it was flat and/or low, then driven on.
