Man, I love Craig. Such a stand-up guy. I have so many fond memories of the goofiness of the later Late Late Show episodes that I often forget how thoughtful many of his early monologues were.

I think her starting as a child star is exactly why the conservatorship was pursued. They stopped getting her money when she was an adult. It was fortuitous for them that she started having her breakdown around that time. Her dad totally used her mental health as a way to get to her money.

The fact that people laugh after he mentions Anna Nicole Smith’s dead speaks volumes about the way these women were being treated by the media and public at the time. 

it’s crazy that with everything Kanye’s done, he’s not in a conservatorship. If there’s anyone incapable of making logical decisions about his life and money, he’s the one. But he’s out there making his own choices, even if they’re bad.

All of their hand wringing and apparently requisite mea culpas will not change the outcome of the conservatorship hearing. Britney will once again be under her father’s thumb. Eichners tweets are bland celebrity ribbing but Silverman’s set jokes that her children are mistakes and then flips the joke to be about everyone knowing what Britney’s vagina looks like because paparazzi took upskirt photos of her. And there's some slut shaming thrown in for good measure.

I am totally down for not making fun of their mental health struggles but also... like, where is the line? If Kanye does something bonkers and people point out that he’s a misogynist, is that making fun of his mental health? And how much leeway do these people need, all of whom are richer than god, when they could…

Also I felt like his Tweet was acknowledging he was complicit in the situation? I am not sure why people thought they needed to find evidence of something he was freely admitting?

I appreciate that your wife would want to be cautious at this point. But she may be advised to have the vaccine once the baby is born. There is a very small percentage of the population that might need further guidance regarding vaccines due to numerous allergies (as you point out) but no doctor is going to advise…
