Congratulations. You should call the mom of the Key Grip that worked on the set of the movie, because I am pretty sure you are the only two people on Earth that enjoyed Spanglish.

You have actually made a really excellent point, and I am not being sarcastic. Perhaps I could watch this movie with that in mind, and maybe enjoy it, if it weren't for my absolute hatred of Adam Sandler and his "acting", but I can't. So PDL will just be lost on me forever because of it. This is my loss. We only get

An actor. Y'know, someone who can act.

We have a difference of opinion. That's fine. I think he was terrible in Punch Drunk Love. It's fine that you have a different opinion.

I have my opinion. You are welcome to yours. If you enjoy watching his shitty movies, more power to you.

To each their own. PT Anderson was wrong. All Adam Sandler did in that movie was act constipated and then occasionally explode into rage, like he does in every movie he has ever been in.

There is no such thing as a good Adam Sandler movie. He flat out ruined what would have otherwise been another great PT Anderson film with his terrible lead performance in Punch Drunk Love. He was not good in Funny People. He has never been good in anything, and I am fucking tired of people trying to justify his humor

The AV Club has to be high on bath salts to be putting LA Confidential 8th behind fucking Face Off and Starship Troopers. Look, both of those movies are fun, guilty pleasures (Face Off especially) but LA Confidential is a goddamned masterpiece.

Our Lady Peace was pretty good back in the day. They had a stretch of four solid albums.

I agree with what Alex said. I always hated James, and his subplot midway through Season 2 gets an instant fastforward from me (in fact, when I recommend the show to people, and they get that far in, I tell them to fast forward and explain what happens, to spare them.) Having said that, when he appeared in the

Saw him at Fenway Park, 14th row, in 2013. The greatest live music experience of my life. Something I will remember forever.

One of the many reasons that I love The Royal Tenenbaums as much as I do, is because of its reference to this book/movie. I had only vague memories of seeing the movie as a child and Tenenbaums caused me to seek it out.

You got me there. Super Mario Land is terrible, but considering the power of the system it was made for……..Yeah, no, it's still pretty terrible. Clearly a rush job.

This is definitely my least favorite Mario game and the one that I temporarily gave up on without completing, for many years. Putting aside the rather annoying gimmick of FLUDD for a moment, I just have to say that this game contained some ridiculously impossible platforming in those special levels where one misstep

It's amazing how such a relatively small role could have such a deep impact. I think if you asked someone that was only vaguely familiar with Twin Peaks, they would mention either the Little Man From Another Place or The Log Lady. She was iconic, and irreplaceable. Twin Peaks may go on with out her, but she was a key
